Our story
Teacher Online began the way most classroom supply problems do – with a teacher paying for it themselves.
Our founder spent eleven years teaching upper elementary and the same eleven years buying laminating pouches, storage caddies and reward charts out of pocket, from four different suppliers, none of whom had ever stood in front of a class at 8:40 on a Monday.
We built the store that was missing. One catalog, organized the way a room is actually organized – by the corner of it you are trying to fix. Everything held to a simple standard: would it survive a full year, and is the price something a teacher could defend to the person who approves the budget.
How we choose stock
Every item is bought in, used in a real classroom for a term, and only then listed. If it frays, jams, fades or needs replacing before spring, it does not make the catalog. We would rather carry eight good storage bins than forty indifferent ones.
Who we are for
Classroom teachers, homeschool educators, tutors, teaching assistants, and the school office staff who quietly hold the whole building together. Purchase orders from schools and districts are welcome.
